What this site collects today

SchemeTrail is a static site. There are no accounts, no file uploads and no free-text inputs. We do not run advertising scripts. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to operate the service.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits in aggregate, so we can see which pages are useful. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites; visits are counted with an anonymised, short-lived identifier that cannot be linked back to you by us.

Email digest and waitlist (when sign-up opens)

When the weekly change digest opens for sign-up, we will collect only your email address, your professional role and your organisation type, with your consent, to send the digest and understand who reads it. The list will be managed by Buttondown, our email service provider, which stores subscriber data on our behalf.

Every email will include a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing tianliangjay@gmail.com, and we will remove them from the email service as well.

Watchlist (when it launches)

The free watchlist will store your saved item codes only in your own browser (localStorage). That data never leaves your device and is not sent to any server. Clearing your browser storage deletes it.

What we never collect

This site handles public data only. We do not ask for, and do not want, participant information, health information, plan details or case documents — please do not send them to us.
